REGEN INSTITUTE PTY LTD (ACN 687 814 848)
1. Nature of Services
Regen Institute Pty Ltd (“Regen Institute”, “we”, “our”) is a private medical service providing assessment and management of medically indicated conditions within a defined clinical scope. Regen Institute does not provide comprehensive primary care and does not replace a patient’s regular general practitioner.
All clinical care is delivered by registered medical practitioners in accordance with applicable laws, professional standards, and Regen Institute’s clinical governance framework.
2. Eligibility and Intake Process
Access to services is subject to a structured multi-stage eligibility process, which may include:
completion of a detailed intake form
clinical review of provided information
review of available health records (including My Health Record where consent is provided)
verification of a diagnosable medical condition
Submission of an intake form does not guarantee eligibility for consultation or treatment.
Patients must provide complete and accurate information. Failure to do so may result in:
refusal of care
modification of treatment
increased clinical risk for which Regen Institute accepts no liability
3. Booking and Pre-Consultation Requirements
Where a patient is deemed suitable to proceed:
a booking link will be issued
a mandatory interval may apply prior to consultation to allow for required investigations
pathology or other investigations may be required prior to consultation
Failure to complete required investigations may result in:
cancellation or deferral of consultation
inability to proceed with treatment planning
4. Consultation and Clinical Decision-Making
All prescribing decisions are made solely at the discretion of the treating medical practitioner following:
face-to-face clinical assessment
review of investigations
assessment of risks, benefits, and alternatives
Regen Institute does not guarantee:
that treatment will be offered
that any specific therapy will be prescribed
that outcomes will be achieved
5. Informed Consent and Treatment Limitations
Where treatment is offered, patients will undergo a formal informed consent process which includes:
explanation of risks, benefits, and alternatives
discussion of evidence base and limitations
disclosure where therapies are off-label or not included on the ARTG
Patients acknowledge that:
some therapies may involve compounded or off-label medications
clinical outcomes are variable and not guaranteed
treatment is provided within a conservative, medically governed framework
Consent may be withdrawn at any time.
6. Medication Supply and Payment Agent Role
Regen Institute does not manufacture, compound, or dispense medications.
Where treatment is prescribed:
medications are supplied by independent, licensed Australian pharmacies
Regen Institute may act as a payment facilitation agent on behalf of the patient for pharmacy services
the pharmacy is solely responsible for compounding, dispensing, and delivery
Regen Institute is not responsible for:
pharmacy operations
medication manufacturing quality
delivery timelines or cold-chain integrity once transferred to the pharmacy
7. Fees and Payments
Regen Institute is a private service with no Medicare rebate available.
Fees may include:
consultation fees
investigation costs
medication and pharmacy-related costs
Payment is required prior to consultation unless otherwise specified.
Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law.
8. Follow-Up and Monitoring
Patients agree to:
participate in follow-up processes including scheduled reviews
report adverse effects or concerns promptly
comply with monitoring requirements
Regen Institute may contact patients for safety follow-up, including early post-treatment check-ins and formal review consultations.
Failure to engage in follow-up may result in cessation of care.
9. Patient Responsibilities
Patients agree to:
provide accurate and complete medical information
follow medical advice and instructions
inform Regen Institute of adverse events immediately
seek urgent care where clinically indicated
Patients acknowledge that Regen Institute is not an emergency service.
10. Coordination of Care
Regen Institute operates within a multidisciplinary model and may:
communicate with the patient’s general practitioner
liaise with other healthcare providers involved in care
Patients consent to information sharing for the purpose of safe, coordinated care, in accordance with privacy legislation
11. Privacy and Data Use
Regen Institute collects, uses, and discloses personal and health information in accordance with:
Privacy Act 1988 (Cth)
Australian Privacy Principles
internal privacy and information management policies
Patients consent to the use of their information for:
clinical care
safety monitoring
quality improvement
12. Use of Technology and AI
Regen Institute may utilise technology, including AI-assisted tools, for administrative purposes such as clinical documentation.
AI is not used for:
independent clinical decision-making
diagnosis or treatment determination
All clinical decisions are made by registered practitioners.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law:
Regen Institute is not liable for outcomes arising from incomplete or inaccurate patient information
Regen Institute is not liable for acts or omissions of third-party providers, including pharmacies
all medical care involves inherent risks which are acknowledged by the patient
Nothing in these terms excludes rights under Australian Consumer Law.
14. Right to Refuse or Cease Care
Regen Institute reserves the right to:
decline to provide services
cease treatment where clinically appropriate
refer patients to alternative providers
15. Changes to Terms
These Terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
